Founder Profile :

Mr. Dorai Vinod Raj, is the Promoter & Managing Partner of SKV Enterprises, have set a strong foothold in the India With an extensive experience and knowledge in steel industry, he achieved specialization for company in supplying CRCA products to clients.

Vinod Raj was born on 29th July,1973 and has done his bachelor’s degree in b.com stream. He founded SKV in 2011 and has nearly 17 years of extensive experience in Steel Industry. His career started in 1985 as Marketing Manager of M/s.Surana Steels Limited. Finnaly floated a company after 17 years of excellent knowledge in steel industry.

Vinod Raj’s work Experiences :

(1995 – 1997 ) :

Vinod Raj Started as Marketing Manager of M/s.Surana Steels Limited, in 1995. Surana Steels Limited is a Cold Rolling Company where in they used to Roll Cold coils from Hot Rolled Coils. As he was appointed as Manager Marketing for CRCA Coils & before entering the market he worked in the factory for two years and handled the activities related to P.P.P. (Planning Procurement Production.) By handling these three P’s, he came to know all most all about STEEL a person need “CUSTOMER’S Specifications, Requirements, Lead Time, Different Grades, End Products, Segments and all”.

( 1998 – 2000 ) :

In 1998, he worked for the Corporate Office and visited existing Customers in the market preliminary and took care of their day to day requirement and coordinate with the PPP team in the factory.

Vinod Raj’s work in exploring new customers :
Updating PPP Team with new sizes, Specifications and end use of the new customers.
Mapping entire Andhra Pradesh with potential requirement.
Exploring Customers in other States of the country.

( 2001 – 2003 ) :

Vinod Raj was made Marketing Head for GALVANISING UNIT along with his existing profile of Manager Marketing for CRCA COILS / SHEETS. Apart from CRCA Customer, he used to take care of TELEPHONE CABLE AND POWER CABLE Manufacturers and used to supply GALVANISED STEEL TAPE to the customers. He also used to take care of the total procurement of ZINC from Hindustan Zinc Limited and also import of ZINC for the GALVANISING UNIT.

( 2004 – 2010 ) :

Vinod Raj Joined TATA STEEL DISTIBUTOR for CRCA COILS as Business Manager.

TATA STEELS has appointed him at their Distributors Office at Hyderabad and had again undergone training at Jamshedpur at their South Regional Office Chennai.

Finally, Vinod Raj got succeeded in launching his own business in steel industry “SKV Enterprises” which is the CRCA products supplier in 2010. His culture of leadership and innovation‚ positioned SKV to achieve sustained growth in a complex and rapidly evolving industry climate.
